-Thank you very much for purchasing a DVD of the Recital this year! We at DVW Video really do appreciate your support and we want to share with you some tips on caring for your DVDs. Keeping your DVDs clean and properly stored will allow you to have a lifetime of viewing enjoyment. Here are some tips that should assist you with doing so. -When you are not playing your DVDs, Please keep them stored properly in their DVD cases, away from sunlight and heat, and off floors and table tops. Please be careful not to leave discs lying around outside of their storage case. -When handling your DVDs, Handle your discs from its outer edges and inner edges of the center hub. Be careful not to place your fingertips onto any surface area of the disc. And when placing the discs back into the case, press only from the non-printed surface around the center hub. -Improper disc handling will cause scratches to your DVD. Scratches are the Number One reason, and usually the main reason, why DVD players will not play a disc. Please keep your DVDS out of the hands of children who do not exercise proper disc handling technics. -If your disc gets scratched, it might cause your DVD to skip while playing or stop playing altogether. There is little you can do to fix scratches. There are scratch repair devices you can obtain from a CD/DVD store but very few actually will fix a scratch enough where your disc can play without skipping. Some scratch repair devices that are effective need to re-surface the entire disc surface area. -Fingerprints on a disc will smudge the reading surface of the DVD. If a disc obtains smudges, it might cause your DVD to skip or stop playing. Most smudges are from fingerprints, but can also be from grime or gunk caused by leaving your DVDs out of their cases, and can easily be cleaned with moisture from your breath and a lint-free, non-abrasive DVD cloth (or Lens cleaning cloth) that you can obtain from wherever you can purchase CDs, DVDs, or Photography supplies. You can obtain enough moisture needed to wipe away smudges by breathing onto the surface of the disc. Do Not place your disc under running water or spray the disc surface with water or any cleaning liquid because the water may damage the printed graphic on the surface of your disc. However, if you decide to use a water spray, use it very lightly and be careful not to get water onto the printed graphic located on the top side of your disc. Also, please read the information about our DVD Replacement Policy. DVW Video sincerely thanks you for your DVD purchase. We are commited to providing you with a high quality professional grade DVD.
